Short stories about heirloom vegetables and fruits from my garden in the Valley of the Moon, Sonoma County, California. ....................By Craig Allen Lindquist
Looking forward to your article the Aji Crystal chili pepper. I have grown 15-20 plants per year since 2004. Excellent roasted over apple wood and eaten whole or ground into paste and canned for future use. I've enjoyed the rich citrus heat of the Crystal on eggs, pork, fish, chichen, and all masa harina dishes. Excellent paired with green and purple Tomatillo salsas and gaspacho.
